Dalcrue Country House is situated on a 600 acre historic farm in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, some ten kilometres from Nottingham Road on the tarred Sani Pass road.
They have six large, well-appointed luxury en-suite double bedrooms. For the chilly winter months, each room has a wood-fired fireplace. Dalcrue also offers a very well stocked pub, diningroom and large lounge, as well as wrap-around verandas for those who prefer to relax in the fresh air, whilst looking over the waters down in the valley. All reception rooms have fire places for cozy winter evenings. Guests can relax in Dalcrue’s large, rolling gardens, full of indigenous plants and trees. They also have a conference facility which can easily cater for at least twenty conference delegates, and for more guests if used for small functions.
Dalcrue’s waters cater for both seasoned and beginner flyfishers, and include two small dams, two very large dams and about one kilometre of the Mooi River, for those keen on river fishing. Most waters are within walking distance from the accommodation, and all waters are well stocked and set in very picturesque mountainous surroundings.
There are many unspoiled walks boasting panoramic views, as well as abundant bird life and other wildlife, on the property and adjoining land, which guests have access to. For those keen on crafts and shopping, Dalcrue is situated on the Midlands Meander.
